In the tube shots have always been the holy grail of surfing documentation. This surf sufficient Korduroy.tv shows you how Cyrus made a camera board with Dave Rastovich for his super 16mm remote controlled camera during the production of the cult documentary “Under the Sun.” These days with camera technology getting lighter, cheaper and more compact, tube vision is even easier.

We used a custom aluminum mount. I suggest dropping in to your local bike shop and asking around for someone who welds aluminum. With as small as cameras like gopros are you can probably get away with a pvc pipe rig or bamboo if you’re on the Super Eco Shred Squad… This setup is pretty rad because it makes you look like you’re getting way more barreled than a head mounted cam.
