Tomo is one of the shapers I see pushing the limits of progression, high performance, and true hydrodynamic theory. Speed and control and complete precision in maneuverability are good qualities in a board, and the Thomson puts that into his boards.

Daniel rips. He’s getting so much speed from his fish shapes and blending in thruster curves to his designs that make it so he can go top to bottom too. If you look closely this shit is radical and way different than the same old shit. Good on him for going his own direction and looking for something new.

I got a chance to surf with Daniel on the Goldy. It was pumping and he got some deep tubes on those things. THey seem to go really fast down the line.

That board looks fun as hell. I like @ 2:00 in how the tail slides out a bit in the back as he’s popping out of the barrel. Seems like you get the benefits of a fish and thruster at the same time.
