Here’s a new how-to on fixing your busted glass-on fin. Glass-on fins are the best but are easy to get knocked off by rocks and dickhead airport luggage dudes. Here are a few tips on how to get your board cutting back in the water again.
Note: The amount of rope you glass with really determines the strength of the repair. If the fin is bigger than the one shown you might want to let the first round of fin rope cure then double up with same amount or even more strands for a more sturdy repair.

@ Sean, You’d probably need to use more tape and solarez to align in the beginning then use about 3 times as much fin rope as shown in this repair so you have a nice bridge between the board and the vertical fin for the glass to fold on to.
