Joel Tudor’s smooth style has been a staple at Cardiff State Beach for years. Here he is effortlessly riding his 10’0″ noserider on the peeling lefts.

How I miss waking up to this break. Who is the artist in the soundtrack?
August 23rd, 2010
Its the Drums–strong from Brooklyn. Check out their song,” My Best Friend.” These guys are nearly Morrissey and Crew, Part II. I love that break. At 2:10, I love the irony of Tudor lazily and smoothly transitioning sections while the old timer in the foreground struggles. No offense to the old timer. Its just typifies any given day at Cardiff, San O, Tourmo, ‘Bu, etc. A superstar and a beginner in the same footage.

Makes me miss Tourmo so badly right now. My 9’6″ would glide almost the same way. So much fun on the giant holy rollers that would come through on those big winter waves that the past winter had. Too many memories to of wonderful days at Tourmo just watching as Skip killed it with his perfect style.
