I’ve used dental floss when the seam itself is torn. Maybe a future surf sufficient?

yup, my hubby used floss on the neck of my suit with neoprene cement on top, don’t know if you guys need another surf sufficient just adding the dental floss- its basically what you have done here but taking a thick needle with waxed floss to the tear before adding the cement. A cool one would be patching a bigger hole with a piece of neoprene from an old suit! Thanks guys! this site rocks looking forward to more…

can i do this with my wet wetsuit?

  5. reis Says:

@Andy, best to wait until it is dry. Otherwise the cement will not dry properly.

What about an old cracked/worn rubber neck seal? The rubber rubs off onto my neck and it keeps getting thinner. Can I just coat it with some neoprene cement?
