The life of a freelance photographer. It’s stressful getting enough clients together to pay the rent, but when it happens and work starts to flow, there’s a wonderful creative freedom that comes from cobbling clients together and escaping the desk job for as long as possible. And as long as you have friends who can come along for the ride, you’re set, at least as far as Kealan Shilling is concerned. He captures his wandering life through a 35mm with a crisp dirtyness that makes it look sexy and dangerous and a damn lot of fun. All of his days probably don’t look like this, but these images are likely a nice reminder that the good times will be rolling through soon enough.
