After watching him traverse the peaks and valleys of freelance filmmaking, James’ girlfriend is very pleased indeed to see him accept his first (not so) grown up job with Korduroy. When he’s not annihilating the Final Cut hot keys, James can be found munching pistachios in his VW van and wearing out his hiking boots prematurely.

The son of professors, I skipped college to pursue an early career of professional surfing. At 20, an injury placed me on the other side of the lens making his first surf film Riding Waves. Shorty after my 30th birthday I sublet my place in Encinitas, California and moved back into my van where you'll find me hounding for waves and taking photos.

After graduating from UCSB and dodging locals around the island of Kauai for a few years, Reis moved home to San Diego, connected with Cyrus and jumped into the Korduroy adventure. Applying himself to the things he loves most (surfing and computers), Reis has now established himself as blog-master while continuing to learn and develop his skills to further enhance the team.
Growing up in the Ocean State, is where Pete first fell in love with the sea. That love eventually led Pete to chase the setting sun but not before college in New Hampshire, a brief stint in Manhattan and 2 months in Costa Rica. Once in California, Pete knew it was home. He's done about everything from concrete to hardwood floors to waiting tables to banking to retail to textiles. It seems his innate sense of style lends him well suited for the apparel world. He was fortunate enough to meet Reis and then Cyrus while working for Patagonia and now is so excited to be a part of Korduroy.tv!

Natalie grew up in San Diego but has spent her adult life in one concrete jungle after another. College in Chicago and a corporate job in New York city were great, but now that she's settled back in sweet southern California, she's focused on the creative side of life. She's on the lookout for awesome artists, surfers and all around do-ers to feature on the KTV blog and social media pages. So if you keep rockin', she'll keep rollin' and someday we'll all find a way to meet in the middle.

Whether she’s living near the ocean or venturing far from it, Heidi’s adapted to her life the fundamental advice her dad gave years ago: Paddle hard, and never let a wipeout keep you down. Since returning home to San Diego, she’s ecstatic to stand behind Korduroy as the means for inspired DIY-ers like you to exchange brilliant ideas.
