Vargas Island and Flores Island Provincial Parks are located off the west coast of vancouver island, near the town of Tofino in Clayoquot Sound. Seventeen volunteers from the Vancouver Island Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation undertook a beach cleanup on the beaches of both parks from June 1st to june 3rd, 2012.

2187lbs (approx. 1 tonne) of debris removed by volunteers from the shores of both islands over the course of the weekend.
