Architect by trade, surfer at heart, Gregg Sullivan recently opened up Gregg's Art & Surf Co (GAS) in a quiet section of Ocean Beach, just a few blocks from the pier. The shop is full of bright colors and interesting shapes, along with artwork from various local artists. Aside from stocking suits from SEEA, Gregg also has carries handmade skateboards from Maki, and we were stoked to see a few boards for sale by local shaper Boone Rogers.

The Hermosa suit has been a crowd favorite this Summer. With a sweetheart cut for cuteness and long sleeves to protect from the Sun, it's no wonder why! Longboard or short, the Seeababes have been putting our hybrid swim / surf suit to the test this Summer, and they all say the same thing: "Best suit ever!" This week I had the pleasure of being back in my native country, Italy. Besides visiting family, eating lots of pasta, and shopping (of course!!), I finally got back to "business" this weekend, which meant hanging out with Margaret & Matt from Bing at the Single Fin Festival held at Marina di Pietrasanta, just a few hours away from Florence on the Tuscan coast.

After spending three days installing the new custom display at Thalia Surf Shop in Laguna Beach, we realized a few things:1) It's all about the love2) Colt Bowden is a pretty talented guy3) This display is pretty much awesome!Big thanks to Nick, Casey, Josh the whole crew at Thalia for providing us the space and the opportunity to get creative. Recently Jeff Yokoyama (of Generic Youth fame), invited us to bring Seea to his small, well curated workshop in Newport Beach, AKA, the Yokishop! Aside from being the main showroom for Generic Youth, Jeff's workshop is also the creative nexus for Yoki's Garden, an amazing project involving the repurposing of used USC athletic gear into anything from T-shirts and shorts to overstuffed bean bags. When I first met the lovely Jenayl at Deus Ex Machina in Venice, I knew right away she was a Seeababe!The attraction was mutual - I loved her style & grace, and she had heart shaped eyes when she first saw Seea in person! You won't find any celebrities at Seea HQ (who are we kidding!?), but we did think it was pretty cool when the Doheny Waterstripe Rashguard was featured this week on the celebrity fashion site WhoWhatWear.com!! As a result, this version of the Doheny Rashguard is almost already sold out, but not to worry - another brand new, limited edition version is on the way in September!!
