Just met Joel Fitzgerald last night at a party here in Bali, not really knowing who he was. His family heritage is legendary and I was blown away by his past as he told me stories of remote surf passes in Thailand and explained to me the beauty of Hawaii, and the attempt of a sequel to the classic film “Morning of the Earth”. Deep down when i spoke with him briefly I knew he was a special guy with an deep energy that was unexplainable and extremely intriguing. Here is footage I found of he and his family surfing.
