The language of Australian
Australia is quite a unique country, through my travels here in Asia I have had the incredible opportunity to meet and hang with many Auzzies. They speak in terms that i have never heard of and I just so happened to write down alot of phrases and words that have been thrown at me by my Auzzie companions.
Bogans are known to infest the island of Bali, in particular the beach community of Kuta. Where they drink mushroom shakes, wear bintang singlets, and drink til they get in a fight or get laid by a fellow “Bogan”. I just so happened to witness this spectacle about 2 weeks ago here in Bali, a night to remember.
So a “Bogan” is what Australians call the “lower class” Australians. The same way we Americans call our less fortunate, “white trash, or rednecks”. Although all of these terms are not a direct “Bogan” words or phrases (many are just Australian), many are “Bogan”, and i think they are quite funny and wanted to share them with you.
