A really nice still life for Adidas -
I’m currently running around shooting some lovely commissions right now but just happened upon this write up for my SALT+WAX book from a guy I met at a surf event just over a year ago. Thanks for the kind words Tom [here is his surfblog. It’s worth a read]. Things like that makes the years of effort to get the book published seem worth it -This is “Salt + Wax”. This is the lovely simple cover that surroundsMarkLeary’sbook of surf...
So here I am with Demi [Creative Director of the LSFF] about to start waffling on about SALT+WAX. The beard has now gone [only three months into my six month challenge] and I’m finally all relaxed again after getting stupidly nervous about it.
So it is finally here and all the pledgers’ copies have been sent out. There are still some available to buy here.
So I’ve spent the last few days getting the exhibition hung for the LSFF 2012 festival. My exhibit runs for the next two weeks to coincide with the festival, which runs from the 11-14th of October. Some amazing films at this year’s festival. I can’t wait to see them on the big screen.
So we have the finished proofs and the book is hitting the printing press this week and then off to the binders. All perfectly timed for the London Surf Film Festival where the organisers have very kindly given me a 35’ long wall to myself to cover with prints. So excited right now. Getting so much closer.
I’ve just been told it’s been selected for screening at a UK film festival it was entered into. So excited to think I will get to watch it on the big screen in a cinema.
So here is a mini series from the images I shot at this year’s Tour de France. I shot these images on the Col du Tourmalet climb in the Pyrenees.
