Puerto Escondido legend Carlos "Coco" Nogales shares his insights on the wave that has been a key component for his a career in professional surfing. After rising from being a street kid in Oaxaca into the forefront of Mexican surfing, Coco has found a way to give back by developing the Coco Nogales Surf Challenge. The contest helps to support local surfers and expose underprivileged children to the sport, possibly fostering the next generation of Puerto Escondido surfer stars.
