Tatsuo Takei
Inner-Views
Tatsuo Takei is a freelance photographer from Osaka, Japan who maintains a life off the grid, traveling each year between Japan and California. Inspired by the photographs from Surfer Magazine in the 60's and 70's, he is a strong believer in the physical outcome that a camera produces, which means you will only see Tatsuo shooting with film cameras for both photo and video.
In this episode of InnerViews, Tatsuo tells us how he stays true to his analog roots by giving up a lot of things that Japanese and American cultures say that you need, instead following his heart and doing what he loves, no matter the cost.
