  Hi nice video. I was wondering, when you call it a hot coat is it actually hot? or is that just a term used? Thanks

  @Gavin. It doesn't necessarily have to be hot. Sometimes people put extra catalyst in their resin to speed up the process, which makes the resin hot. The hot coat is basically the second layer of resin over the initial layer which fills in the bumps from the weave of the fiberglass.

  Got a question... How do you guys remove the resin off from the brush after the hot coat? Thanks!

  @anthony - use acetone. pour some in a cup and soak your brush in it for a minute. then use a rag to wipe the brush clean. works like a charm!
