Some surf photographers are able to capture a tube shot in such a way that it feels like the wave is breaking on top of the viewer. Others capture the moment in a way that truly stops time. That’s how Domenic Mosqueira does it, with subjects seemingly so at ease inside a barrel and lenses that create the kind of definition that makes water look like glass. He’s a Mexican Canadian living in Tahiti, learning his craft in arguably one of the most photogenic places in the world. Today he brings us his view from there.
