Willie Kessel grew up in Fallbrook and Santa Barbara, California, always yearning to “create images that move people in some way.” Unlike most photographers, he does not think of photography as simply a means of capturing a particular moment in time, but instead as a way to bring people into his head so they can see things from his point of view. But he’s only as good as the people he’s looking at. Kessel claims: “The people I surround myself with make me a better artist/photographer.” In this gallery, you can meet some of those people and step into his head for a few minutes to see how he experiences the world through watchful eyes.
