Homeland Premieres Online and at London Film Fest

Cyrus Sutton’s latest film “Homeland,” an 11-minute short film about the nature, gastronomy, tradition, art and ocean of the Basque region, premiered yesterday at the London Surf Film Festival and today we are making it available here on Korduroy.tv. Recorded across 15 days between Biarritz and Bilbao, the film is a beautiful look at the past, present and future of this unique part of the world.

The film, funded by Etxepare Basque Institute and Surfilmfestibal, made it’s debut at the Surfilmfestibal and the Smash Film Festival of New York and has traveled the U.S. and Europe with Sutton as part of the Compassing tour. After London, Homeland will be shown in Brussells as part of the Fenêtre Ouverte dans le Pays Basque as part of a festival celebrating Basque culture.
