Jon grew up working in his family’s Asian Grocery store in Chinatown, Boston – now he works above them – in the past year he has boosted his shaping and glassing operation into a full-time flourishing small business. To drop off a board for ding repair, you must ring a bell which cues a freight elevator, that brings you up through seven floors of dry storage of asian groceries to a small room on the roof that has two bays for shaping and glassing. The juxtaposition of surf and asian culture is amazing.
