Maggie Banks, from Gulfport, Mississippi shares some up-to-date photos of her city 8 years after hurricane Katrina. Gulfport lays claim to seven miles of coastline along the Gulf of Mexico and during a 16-hour Katrina storm surge, water levels across the town exceeded 28 feet. To help build morale, shes taken over the trash cans along the beach, painting sweet little missives in bright colors.
