Filmmaker Thomas Campbell is out with a new skate film, “Cuatro Sueños Pequeños” (four small dreams), and he’s releasing it for a free 24-hour viewing today only. The video is available through his UM YEAH ARTS Vimeo channel here: http://vimeo.com/75202491
Shot on 16mm and clocking in at just under 23 minutes, Campbell says the film “is about the cross between dreams and rolling plank reality” inspired by iconic directors Bertilucci, Goddard and Fellini. It follows Javier Mendizabal and Madars Apse through the woods and into cities in Spain, the Canary Islands, Mallora, the Basque country and California.
The DVD comes in a 90 page, hardcover, cloth spine with premium art book printing with 14 pages of illustrations by Nathaniel Russell and photos by Brian Gaberman, Sem Rubio, Fred Mortagne, Antton Miettienen, Arto Saari, Todd Glaser, Rip Zinger and Thomas Campbell.
The DVD also includes two special extra features By Fred Mortagne. It is available at select skate shops and through umyeaharts.com.
