RE: REcycle, REshape, REpurpose Surfboards

The typical surfboard is made from a toxic cocktail of materials and substances that never biodegrade. While many of us pride ourselves as eco-minded wave riders, the fate of our broken, damaged and forgotten boards often points under the front porch, rafters or dumpster rather than a life renewed and recycled. Here’s a film that will spark your inner Eco-Friendly subconscious and remind you that yellow, rotten, and busted boards still have a heck of a lot of life in them. It’s time to realize their potential, re-use, re-make, and re-purpose our logs, sleds, and sticks for a new life on the water.
