Allan Nadel grew up in south Florida and only got to surf during hurricane swells. But now that he lives in southern California, he’s able to enjoy the surf without so much fear-of-death. He’s a computer animator and has turned to photography for a different creative outlet, only taking it seriously for the past two years. This gallery is an interesting combination of juxtapositions, with jagged rocks and rolling waves, leafless trees and stagnant boats, set to a tribal beat by a band called Tunng.
