After graduating from college with a degree in anthropology, William Holder decided to take time to travel through California and hone his photography skills rather than grind away at a nine-to-five. Though he’s constantly on the move, the ocean remains a constant for him. “I find it impossible to be anything but happy when I’m in the water,” he says.
In Holder’s photos, he focuses on capturing the vibrant light that reflects off the water, bringing an exuberance to these images that we don’t usually see.
